NursePower begins with Sam, our founder. As a registered nurse, Sam spent years working in hospice, caring for elderly patients. Every day, she witnessed homecare providers who were untrained and unqualified to care for her patients.
She shared her concerns with Caleb, her husband, who eventually challenged her: “Why don’t you do something about it?”
That challenge sparked the idea for Assured Quality Homecare.
Over the next five years, Sam and Caleb built an award-winning homecare agency, dedicated to raising the standard of care. They developed a Personal Care Aide Certification Training Program with the help of Annette Dolan, LPN, ensuring that every caregiver underwent an intensive, 40-hour, skills-based training.
With a vision to be the Gold Standard in homecare, ASQ’s leadership team recognized the growing need for private duty nursing.
Thus, NursePower was born.
